"Hmmm wording it like that sounds nice," she said as she took another sip of her coffee. Catching them was fun, when they where a good battle it was funner. "Depends, street hoodlums are common, I just make them turn themselves in, bigger fish take more time, even going undercover. Also depends on how susceptible they are," she said, leaning back she took another sip of the coffee.
Her uniform was immaculate, not a crumb on it. She closed her eyes again, feeling the pulse. The food was great here but the music was too, not that just anyone could listen to it. Her anklet rubbed slightly against her skin. Shed get used to it momentarily. She always wore it just in case. She was always on her guard, though she was lucky she never had to use her ability's on duty. She did not want to be outed as an alchemist.

Gluttony took the last bite of French toast and leaned back a bit with a yawn. Her sleepless night had caught up with her now. She was full, and now her limbs felt like lead. She looked to Sileas with a weak smile.
"I guess staying up reading all night was pretty stupid," she chuckled a bit before she stretched and gave another yawn, covering her mouth courtesyly, "pardon me," she said and looked down to her empty plates. The plate that held her eggs was saturated with the juices of the yolk, orange juice sat in the plate. The plate that held her french toast had a few crumbs on it, along with the marks of the butter. The plate that held her bacon had marks from the grease that had hung on to the strips from when the chef took them out of the frying pan. Gluttony took a breath. Susceptible? She wondered what Deceit had meant by that. Susceptible to alchemy, or to... something else?
"What do you mean... susceptible," she asked rather hesitantly. She blinked and awaited Sileas's answer, out of her peripheral vision she could see the people walking by behind Deceit. Many looking tired. The cool morning air touching her skin. She loved mornings.

"hmmm you might remember my eyes, I use a small form of hypnotism. I can make people turn themselves in or trust me with their secret. They never remember it though," she said, eating the last piece of her bacon she called for the waitress. She asked for a box for her left overs. The waitress walked away quickly and came back in moments with the boxes and a bag. Sileas put what she had not eaten it the box and the box in a bag.
"These eyes where a gift after something bad happened," she said as she leaned back again. She actually felt pretty refreshed, her sleep had been fitful and not filled with bad dreams. So she actually had a pleasant sleep, though it was short. She checked the time and sighed. Fifteen minuets till seven, the office was a little distance away so she had a little more time.

Gluttony calmly nodded, she seemed well enough outside. On the inside however her mind frantically searched for answers to the questions that Sileas had laid on her. How was one to see out of glass eyes? How could hypnotism exist? Every book on the subject said that it was a fools art. Could this girl be lying to her on this subject? Possibly, but it didn't seem to plausible. She didn't seem to have lied yet.
Either way she looked to her lap and shook her head rather solemnly before she looked back up to Deceit.
"Something bad? The thing that made you lose your site. If you don't mind my asking that is," she said rather quietly. She almost didn't want Deceit to hear her. She felt it was a touchy subject that she shouldn't encroach on. Yet she needed to know all about this girl that she could.

Sileas's face sorta dropped when the question came up, her eyes seeming to fade out, looking into the distance. "I dont normally speak of it," she said. She took another sip of the coffee, looking into the glass as if it could tell it for her. She never told anyone, the only person that really knew was her teacher. Her real name was not know to the military, unless they looked up her sister. Her sister, she sighed slightly.
"I lost my eyes and my entire family at the same time, no wait I lost my sister before that. I lost everything, and had nothing that I truly cared for. Even my cat," she said. She sighed slightly, looking into her cup. She ran her finger along the rim, listening to the sound it made. She closed her eyes and kept them closed, listening to the sound of the ground.

Did Gluttony honestly care for this girls troubled past? Not a bit, but it did open her eyes to a few things. Apparently, she reminded Sileas of her sister. Gluttony blinked, wait a minute. Could she? No, that was completely improbable. And plus Sileas would have had some kind of mental breakdown or something. She sighed as she looked down to her plate putting a solemn expression on her face.
"I- I'm sorry," she muttered sadly. Personally, she couldn't give a hoot about this girls problems. Hers here bigger and a bit more complicated. She yawned again, covering her mouth as she did. She could tell that she wouldn't cover any ground today, probably go to sleep right out the city. If she did, she better make sure to full proof the camp site. Remembered her process just before sleeping. Going through touching the bushes one by one passing on the decaying effect of her touch onto the bushes or whatever plant she happened to poke.
She shook her head, the whole process became annoying after a while. Maybe she could just find a nice inn to stay the day in? Catch up on three or four hours of sleep and start her day off then? It was strange, she was used to waking up at four o'clock at every morning, training for an hour, and pausing for a drink of water to watch the sun rise, then more training for a couple hours before heading out. She read at night.
Now, here she was, setting in a chair at a table having food served to her. She smiled. It was certainly something new. She looked up to Sileas and smiled softly,
"That's behind you now, don't worry about the past. Now, you help people and take crime off the street," she said to Sileas. She noticed the girl was looking down. Gluttony wondered if she was sad, or feeling through the ground, or through her.

Sileas looked at her cup, not much showing on her face anymore. The emotions having been buried. She was kicking herself into work mode, her face not showing what she felt. "Correct, behind me, I am no longer Phoenix, I am Sileas," she sipped her coffee. The waitress came by and Sileas payed for both of the platters. The waitress smiled and was genuinely happy to see Sileas, she quickly moved on though.
"I catch them cause I can, because I don't child to come home to a bomb," she said quietly. She stood carefully looking at the time. She had to leave now. Turning to Claudia. "It was nice to speak to you, you remind me of an old friend I once had, she always had her head in the books, and a mask of ignorance. I know you hid your true self from me, but that was your choice, once again thank you, I hope our next meaning is as nice," she said before turning to leave.

Gluttony sat and watched the waitress come, and Sileas pay. Of course, she herself could have paid, but she couldn't sacrifice what funds she had except in the case of an emergency. She smiled to the waitress as she walked by and looked back to Sileas. Phoenix? Was that her name before? Deceit obviously had some kind of troubled past to change her name like that. She was no longer who she was then, now she was someone else entirely.
"It was nice to speak to you, you remind me of an old friend I once had, she always had her head in the books, and a mask of ignorance. I know you hid your true self from me, but that was your choice, once again thank you, I hope our next meaning is as nice,"
Gluttony's eyes widened as she said it. How? Had she let her mask slip off her face? Had Deceit, "looked through her,"? She gave a mental sigh and shook her head.
"You wouldn't like the real me," she said telling herself to stop, "the real me is scarred. I- I cannot exist as myself," she said. It was half true too. She couldn't exist as or for herself. She had to exist as the person she was made to replace, and exist for Dante and the other sins. She had no problem with existing for mother and the sins, but not being able to look like she felt she should kinda ate at her.
She looked to her knees and gave a small mental sigh. She reached down between her legs and grabbed her bag and stood slinging it on her back before looking to the West.
"I'll be going to Central next. I have someone to meet there. Hopefully, we'll see each other again," she said with a smile before nodding to Sileas with an actually sincere smile.
"I... guess this's... goodbye for now," she said looking off to the right.

Sileas nodded, grabbed the bag of leftovers and walked off. She walked quickly, she was a little behind. She pushed what Claudia said to the side, focusing on what she had to do at work. Papers to do, people to talk to. She spotted a person she usually saw, not a beggar but a companion of sorts that needed help from time to time. She walked over dropped what was left of the food in its bag next to her, nodded and continued on her way. Quickly to hq, and even quicker to her new post.~~~~~RP ENDED~~~~~
