Gluttony walked through the East City with a sigh. She yearned for home so badly, her books, two of which she had tucked in the bag that hung over her shoulder by a strap. She was so sick of this, not being able to read anything. Her mind thirsted for the knowledge, it needed it, and now she walked on, with only two books that she'd read thousands of times over.
Honestly... she was getting sick of it. She looked around, her light brown hair that currently looked silver due to the moonlight draped over her shoulder as she turned her head. She sighed, not seeing a library, and looked to the sky. She'd just have to go to Central and break into the library there, or continue her search here for one.
Either way, what she truly yearned for was her mothers voice again. To live in that house, to be in that room. Her bed, ah her bed. Her glorious bed! So much more comfortable then the ground. Which was why most nights she trained herself till she was ready to drop, kicking trees like in her early days of training, kicking and punching trees in the humidity of the night other than standing in the freezing cold training room breaking down pillars of ice, a tear ran down her cheek as she looked to the ground.
How long had it been since she'd seen one of her brothers or sisters? Hell, right now, even Greed would be a sight for sore eyes. She sighed as she blinked. But who she really wanted to see was Pride. She stopped her walking and swallowed as she stood a slight wind blowing through the air.

The Deceiver stood in an alley. She sensed her surroundings, she felt many curious people. She walked out of the alley and walked down the street. She heard a few people raise a commotion, she looked like she belonged in a bar. Her wig was snug and secure, her clothes fitted and showing her better parts. Her eyes covered by a ribbon and yet she moved as if she could see.
She wandered a bit, coming to a nearly empty area, she felt a few people. On standing on the side walk, felt like female, possibly carrying some books. There where also a few, felt like big males nearby. From what the girl felt like she was light of sort, she walked quickly walked but stood a distance away in the shadows. If her assumption was correct, she may of found her serial murders.
She smiled slightly to herself, she placed her hand on the brick and pulled a blade of packed brick out of it. All she had to do was get them to look in her eyes. She walked forwards a bit, not enough to be noticed, but enough that she could move to defend the girl if need be.

Gluttony walked on, her eyes now to the sidewalk she walked along focusing on her steps. She walked on the right side of the street. She looked down to her feet remembering that neither Pride nor Envy had worn shoes, she however chose to. Why she had no idea, but she shrugged and walked on her hair bouncing along with every step. She sighed and suddenly heard something.
"Hey there pretty lady, why don't you come on over here,"
She stopped as she heard the random voice from no where and turned her head to her left to see down a dark alleyway. She bit her lip as a six foot tall, thin, man holding a knife in his hand lurked out of the shadows and walked on to stand in the middle of the street.
"Well? Come on over here," he said waving a hand and wearing a malicious grin.
Gluttony only blinked to the man, and looked back to the dark alleyway then looked back to him. Remember what mother taught you? Cause and effect? If you act like a scared girl, he'll think you are, and you can learn just how many men this idiots got with him, she thought.
"Well? Get over here,"[/i] he growled and took a couple steps toward her. Enough to where he stood at the sidewalks edge.
Gluttony took a step back putting her back against the brick behind her, widening her eyes and giving her face a look of general terror before the man smiled and lunged at her and grabbed her arm. She yanked it back, and was surprised by the man's grip. He had a vice grip on her arm. She gave an annoyed mental sigh and pulled back as he began to drag her to the other side of the street. She fought to go in the other direction.
"Hey guys! Look at the pretty lady I caught for us tonight," he yelled to the alleyway.
Gluttony couldn't help but to smile as she was dragged along to the other side of the street. Three other men walked out of the alley to surround her captor and her in a triangle formation. She looked from one to the other, all of them staring at her with lustful eyes. She literally felt ill now. Humanity was a disgusting thing. One of the three took a step closer and put his face only inches away from hers.
"As leader... I get first taste,"[/b] he rasped in her face.
If she didn't feel ill before, she did now. His breath was DISGUSTING ugh, and the other three didn't smell like cherries either. She fought back a gag as the apparent leader backed away to look at the one holding her.
"Take her to the alley you dolt," he said waving his hand which also had a knife in it. The man who had a hold on her forearm obliged by once again attempting to drag Gluttony.
She however just stood there. The man turned back to look at her and blinked at Gluttony. He tugged on her arm again, but the only reaction from her was a slight jerk. She smiled evilly as she activated her ability and watched the mans skin begin to decay away from her arm.
His eyes widened as it felt like his flesh was being ate away, in only a few seconds, he would be nothing. He let go and howled into the night in pain. Gluttony quickly turned to the one behind her who had already had his dagger ready and stabbed her in the chest. She looked down to the dagger in her chest, then her eyes glanced up to the man. A horrified look of shock flashed across his face as he took a step back, leaving the dagger in Gluttony's chest.
"W- What are you,"[/i] he stammered taking frightened steps back.
She grabbed the knife and ripped it out of her chest with a wince and threw it to the ground. She rushed forward as the other two behind her quivered with fright. She jumped into the air and kicked him in the face. He fell to the ground unconscious, she'd deal with him later now she turned to the other two and glared at them. They took frightened steps back and she clapped her hands.
A green mote of energy appeared as she separated her palms and she smirked. The mote of energy was in the shape of an oval with a dark blue mote of light in the shape of a lightning bold through the middle. The oval separated itself into two separate balls as she smiled and chunked one at one man, and the other at the other one. The two yelled, but foolishly didn't move. The orbs hit them and they began to decay from where the orbs had hit them. She smiled and turned to where the one that had been unconscious had fallen and blinked. Where he had been, he no longer was. She looked up from the ground and around to see him cowering in a corner of someone porch. She glared and walked to him.
Upon reaching him she grabbed him by the throat and slammed him against the wall. She got as close to his face as he had hers and and rasped, "you wanted your taste, so take it," she said and planted her lips on his, something in the back of her mind telling her to screw poetic justice and just decay him here and now with her hand. But nope, she would go with the poetic justice. The mans eyes widened as he squirmed, his lips beginning to decay.
Soon, all that was before her was a pile of dust. She stuck out her tongue and gave a slight gag. Disgusting, next time poetic justice could burn. She stepped off the porch and walked on down the street leaving behind four piles of dust that blew away in the slight wind.[/color]

Deceive thought it strange, she had planned to kill the men and save the young lady. It felt though as if her job had been done for her. She felt the weight lift of the ground and disappear. She was surprised, what power did this person hold. She had followed silently behind her, keeping track. Another seemed to disappear, perhaps she found someone to assist her, she always hating cleaning up the bodies.
She approached, exiting the shadows, her hands in the air showing a sign of none attack. She had never allowed anyone to see her form even if this was a disguise. She wanted to see the girl, to flip her eyes and see what the person looked like. She had never felt that before. There was a smile on her face. She felt like laughing.
"Greetings, I seek not hostility but insight. I was going to deal with these hoodlums but I must thank you instead, you are quiet strong, although I have no clue as to how you did it. You need not tell me if you do not want," she said politely slightly altering her voice, making it a bit deeper, slightly sly. Her blindfold felt tight, how she wanted to rip it off and look.
Another female of power who could assist in the destruction of those that sought to sully east city. She smiled lightly as she thought to herself. A god day indeed, many hoodlums gone and a possible ally. Very good indeed.

Gluttony stopped hearing the other voice and turned to its owner. She saw a woman with long silver hair, and her eyes blocked. She blinked. Gluttony didn't know how, but this woman had saw her or something. She clicked her canines together as she thought and sighed. She'd come up with an idea. She put the idea of the one time that she disappointed mother in her mind, and a lump formed in her throat.
"I- I don't like talking about it," she said looking to the ground incase the woman was playing some kind of trick on her and she could indeed see through that cloth on her face. She sniffled acting as if she were thinking about a tragic incident and her eyes glanced over to where the dust mounds had blown away just seconds before then back to the woman.
"I'm sorry," she lied and turned away before beginning to walk away, still giving the demeanor of someone depressed cause they had a hard life.

Bowing deeply Deceiver said, "My apologies, I only sought to seek a good companion. I am the Deceiver, perhaps you have heard of me." She stood appropriately again. Her smiled gone, she just simply stood. "I only sought to converse with someone I thought was powerful, I will not ask what you did but I feel as if I must thank you once more for killing those people. I cannot see but I am sure you must very light, though do you have books in a bag. It feels like it," she said with a slight smile.
"Im sorry I forgot you did not wish to speak of it, I will continue my patrols, if you ever need help just call. Though with how strong you are I would never think there will be a need," she said as she smiled once more. She stood there thinking, formulating. Her ankle itched slightly, strangely. This girl felt different, her teacher had taught her to sense as well as see.

Gluttony stopped in her tracks as the woman stated the she had books. Slowly she turned her head to the woman and gave a very quizzical look. Never, in her life, had she ever heard of someone being able to pull off something like that. She gave a small sigh and turned to back to the woman.
"How'd you know that," she asked firmly, basically her voice demanded an answer. She glared at the woman from under her bangs that fell in her eyes. Not only had she seen the books through that blindfold, but also through the bag that they were carried in over Gluttony's shoulder?
Not possible. Simply not possible. It... didn't seem possible anyway. She blinked. Great, now she was losing her grip on reality. There must've been some logical way somewhere. She just knew it.

Deceivers mind was on other things when she felt the girl turn and heard the girls question. She smiled slightly. "Your weight, books weigh different then weapons or grocery's. Just like I could tell you where a girl, you weight is played differently. Also I can just sorta sense it. I did not mean to alarm you," she said politely.
"I meant no harm, I tend to ramble at times I guess, I don't mean to, then again usually the only people I get to talk to are those that I kill or the ones I let go to go and tell the police what they have done," she continued with a slight shrug. She really wanted to take the blindfold off, but she felt that it might cause problems. It usually did though those that did see forget very quickly.

She looked at the woman disbelievingly. She could... sense weight? Along with what appeared to be a sixth sense? No, it was scientifically impossible for that to even happen. In all the books she'd read, that kind of thing only happened in the fiction section of the library. She looked down to herself, her body as if checking, "The Deceivers," facts. Yep, she was definitely a female homunculus, and female humans tended to weigh less that male humans, so the same thing applied here.
"Oh come on. Tell me how you can really see through the pack on my back and through that blindfold on your eyes," she said, taking a step forward. This woman had invaded her personal privacy and wasn't going to get off easy.
She gritted her teeth and looked to the ground, remembering mother's lesson on cause and effect. Ugh, no books, for a month. That was horrible. She wasn't about to make the same mistake again. She looked up to the woman and blinked once before swallowing.
"I'm sorry, it just strikes me as strange that you can... sense weight, along with apparently some kind of sixth sense that allows you do this. I'm curious," she said keeping her image up of a young girl that didn't know a windmill kick from a uppercut.

Deceiver smiled slightly. "I am known for sending near do wells to the police," she said ash she took off her blind fold, her eyes still closed. Deceiver felt at ease around this girl, the first time in years, like one of her sisters, she almost teared as she thought of her past. She mentally shook the thought out of her head. Her sisters where dead, her brothers where dead, her mother, her father, her aunt, her uncle, her cat, all gone.
"Usually I do not show my eyes, in truth I am blind. I use a form of alchemy to feel the weight and structure of things through the ground. I can feel through the ground the slight shifts and movements people make when throwing, fighting walking," she said slightly. She was a little tensed. She slowly opened her eyes, showing red iris's, no pupil instead the red had a black sigil in both eyes.
"I still cannot see you but I figured I would prove I could not see," she said with a small smile. Her heart hurt a bit, she was thinking too much of them. She turned her attention to the girl and focused on her. Lifting her head slightly, she sensed through the ground, she felt a young boy coming this way, probably a child. He was walking from the same direction they had. "There seems to be a lost child coming this way, boy I think," she said as she turned around retying her ribbon over her eyes.

Gluttony nodded. Alchemy, of course. She mentally cursed herself for being so naive that she didn't think of it. Already a theory was being formed in her mind, and she looked to the ground as she thought it out. Using stone alchemy she could, with her mind, sift and feel through the stone. That was her theory anyway. A technique like this would do great for mother to know. She nodded and looked to the woman, this, "Deceiver," and her eyes widened to see the womans eyes. Her muscles tensed at the unnaturalality of it.
Wow. That was- wow. She swallowed, and relaxed with a low, deep, and inaudible breath. There wasn't a lot in the world that she was so phased at, she after all was a crime against nature. She saw something unnatural every time she looked into a mirror. She didn't really care though, she was herself, homunculus or not. She couldn't care less about who she was meant to replace.
"There seems to be a lost child coming this way, boy I think,"
Gluttony blinked. A child, a boy child? He better not annoy her that's all she knew. Suddenly, her ears picked up the sound of rock rolling against rock. She turned her head to her left, the direction of the sound to see a young boy. Hands stuffed into the pockets of his shorts walking down the street looking to the his feet. He had short blond hair that curled a the ends. She watched him, her head following his path as he walked between her and the woman and on as if he hadn't noticed they existed in the slightest and walked on disappearing into the darkness kicking his rock. She blinked and turned her head back to, "The Deceiver," and gave a small inaudible sigh. Tonight, was grating on her nerves a bit. First, there were those perverts that were nothing but dust in the wind now, even so ugh. Second, there was this little task at hand. Third, there was that kid that had interrupted her. And finally, there was the fact that she still didn't have any more books!! Still, this alchemical trick of this woman's maybe be of good use to mother. She decided to go with it and figure it out. After all, what made Dante happy made her happy, and what fool wouldn't go with what made them happy?
"You feel weight, through stone," she asked, it was rather confusing. As far as gluttony had known, the books along with her weight would've been clumped up into one weight, not one heavier then another lighter with a clear definition between which was what, "how can you do this," she asked sounding genuinely amused and curious. She knew that this would make mother happy, so she'd figure it out, if she couldn't trick, "The Deceiver," into telling her, well, she may end up like those perverts from earlier.

Deceiver smiled slightly. She did not usually tell people. "I trained to do so to cover my other ability, while the other one is active I cannot use any alchemy but to read through the ground. In truth it is second nature to me, first off through my feet I can feel vibrations, those vibrations are similar to sound waves in a way, I can feel into the ground, the surface of the ground, though buildings, even people if I wanted to, I prefer no to do the last out of respect," she said lightly, she still kept her voice disguised.
She knelt down slightly and pulled the shoe sock down a bit, showing the six sigils around her ankle. "This is what I use," she said before covering them again. "I also have good ears and sense of smell. It appears I am at ease around you, which I find odd, I usually dislike people," she said honestly. She felt at ease. More so then she had in a long time. "I ask simply that you don't tell anyone what I have shown you, otherwise it is likely they will discover who I am, I like doing what I do and would hate to be bound. Plus it means I cant read anymore," she said lightly and honestly.

Gluttony took in what the woman said, and the sigils, and logged them into her vast memory banks. She wore a stern face as she looked back up to the woman, and nodded.
"Not a soul," she said sweetly. Of course, it was a lie. Gluttony did wonder what she meant by, "see through people," not read their minds, there was no way. She smiled either way. The woman was a fool, fighting for the greater good when she couldn't, "feel," a deadly sin right in front of her. Gluttony smiled, and not sweetly this time. She abolished the smile from her face and smiled a little more sweetly to, "The Deceiver," and now, it was time for this, "Deceiver," to help out Gluttony.
"I hate to have to ask you this, but traveling alone, through the world, it gets slightly boring. That's why I have these books I do, however, I've read them time and time again. You wouldn't happen to know where I could pick up another book do you," she asked sweetly with a slight sense of timidness in her voice. Kinda like back when she lived with mother, back when she was new to the world. She blinked once slowly looking to the ground. How she thirsted to be in the house again. She swallowed slightly as she looked up to the woman and awaited her answer.

Deceiver smiled at the question. "I know where to find plenty of books, I have a bunch at my house if you wanna read them. They are mostly old text books though. That and Ill need to change," she said. Although she was not sure, her words on not a soul felt empty. It kinda felt weird, t trust someone with so much about herself, including her true form.
"Usually Id jump around to get to my house, avoiding the military, they seem pretty addiment in getting me to join. Fools is what I think, then again they dont know what I look like, Ill have to keep this facade till we get near my house," she said, turning her vice back to its normal, musical tone. Her voice was a little high, but not much.
She sighed slightly, she sensed through the ground, as well as the buildings. The vibrations soothing her, her face calmed and her breath evener. Her pulse calmed and her heart beat a steady and calm beat. "I feel an unusual thing, I have not felt like trusting anyone in nearly five years. Mayhaps you can visit another time as well," she said, tear escaped from underneath the ribbon and fell to the ground. She wiped her face quickly.

Gluttony gritted her teeth as she saw the tear fall to the ground. She followed it's path until it disappeared onto the ground leaving behind a small dark spot on the stone. She wasn't a monster. But she couldn't stay here, and coming back anytime soon wasn't on her agenda. She was on her way to Central after all. She couldn't very well set here for the rest of this persons life. She didn't know when Dante would call her, and once mother did call her she had to be prepared and asleep here wasn't exactly what she thought of prepared.
Gluttony gave another inaudible and annoyed sigh. Fine, she'd stay the night, but other than that there was nothing that she could do. She'd grab a couple books from the woman, take them, and leave the two she had on her back. But... she looked to the strap of the pack that hung over her shoulder, those books were all that was left of her home. Could she leave them behind? She shuddered as she reached up and grabbed the strap pulling the bag up as if wanting it's contents closer to her. Maybe there was some way that she could take all the books. She looked to the woman.
If, "The Deceiver," could feel like she said, Gluttony would have to have two books that weighted exactly the same as the current ones she had. There had to be another way to get them out. Hmm. Well, she had an entire night to think on it she looked to the woman an nodded.
"Thank you," she smiled, "that would be nice," she said. Finally, she was gonna read something different.
