Gluttony paused while she watched Sileas get ready for... whatever. And evaluation or something. Her eyes skirted to the window, and saw the daylight, then to the clock hanging on the wall. Six o'clock. She'd have to get out of here quick, especially if the evaluator was coming here. That'd be bad. She swallowed a bit as she grabbed a couple books while Deceit put on her boots. She walked over and slipped them into their shelve and then turned back to Sileas.
"You didn't need to put them away, I could of done it later,"
Gluttony shook her head as she slipped two more books onto the shelf emptying her hands and turned back to the table and grabbed four more books before she turned back to Deceit and shook her head.
"No, I read all of these, I should have put them up when I was done instead of just laying it on the coffee table and grabbing another one," she muttered. Her mind was so hungry for the knowledge she just read and read and read without thinking of anything else. She had read her way through half the woman's library, and had learned a lot of alchemy. Air, stone, metal, so many types she had read on. She felt content. She walked over to their designated shelves and slipped them in before repeating the process until all the books were put away. She smiled, feeling like crap, sleepy, a sore throat, bloodshot and tired eyes, she looked over the books fit snugly on the shelves and nodded.
"Okay, done," she said and turned back to the couch and walked over to the couch and blinked. One more book lie, still not put up. She blinked at the name.
Reality Chronicles
She grabbed it by the spine and picked it up and held it by both ends blinking. She smiled as she opened the book and riffled through the pages slowly and a tad nostalgically.

Sileas helped put the books up. She also remembered she would have to pack up the ones she wanted to bring with her soon, she was moving to Central Hq. She sighed slightly putting the last book that was in her hands away. Her uniform was fitting and almost a little tight, she took no notice of it as she gathered the dishes from the night before. "I said last night that if you wanted some of the books feel free to take them, I have lots of books. I cant take them all with me to Central," she said, putting the last cup on her table.
She walked into the kitchen and washed the dishes, being careful not to get water on her clothes. She figured shed get breakfast on her way, a croissant maybe. She tried figuring what she would get as she walked back into the living room. She tidied up a bit more.

Gluttony looked to Sileas with a smile, she was lucky the she didn't ACTUALLY have any feelings. Something told her that she'd feel a bit of remorse for having to leave this woman, with her books. She nodded and looked back down to the book in her hands and laid it on the couch before grabbing the pack on her back and slinging it of her shoulder and laying it on the couch beside the book.
The pack was a dark brown with one strap that she hung over her shoulder and it hung on her back, more like a purse than anything. She opened it and saw the two books inside shadowed by the pack. One was a dark blue, and the other a bloody red. She grabbed the book, Reality Chronicles and stuck it in the pack before turning back to the book cases. She ran across one book that was on something called circle-less alchemy. Gluttony blinked. How could Alchemy exist without a circle? She shook her head and rolled her eyes before moving onto the next shelf where she ran across a book that interested her. She grabbed it and clasped it close to her chest and continued her looking.

Sileas saw the girl look at her circles less alchemy book, she had forgotten to move those into her office. She needed to hide them, or at least put them away. Those where not books she wanted guests to read. "I would ask that you not take any of the alchemy books, mostly because these are the only copies I have and I need to keep them safe," she said. Looking over the bookshelf. She looked at the clock, she did not have much time left. Lets see hair check, uniform check, boots check. She took a deep breath in filling her lungs.
"I have to go soon, I have to be at work in a bit and I hate being late," she said respectfully. Her posture had fixed itself and she was slipping into military mode. She acted different depending on what she needed to be, Deceit a name that meant deceive. She played the parts, an actress in the world.

Gluttony felt that the woman was running short of time and she gave a small sigh as she closed her eyes. She was being a burden, but she wasn't going to leave here without at least ONE book that she was interested in and had never left before. She wouldn't take any alchemy books, fine, she opened her eyes and looked down to the book she had. It was fictional. She pressed it close her her chest again and looked quickly over the books.
Just one more, just one more, just one- Aha! She reached up and slipped one book from the shelf with a purple cover, and dark blue spine. She smiled as she looked down to it.
Compounds of Matter
She saw the title and frowned. This could be considered and Alchemy book. She slipped it on the book case with a small sigh as she looked through the books. Finally, she found on. A history book. She slipped it in her bag back at the couch and shut the bag. She stood straight and turned, bag in hand, to Sileas, which a kind, sincere smile.
"Thank you, I can't tell you how long it's been since I've read a different book," she smiled and shouldered the bag, "I- I guess I should get out of your hair now," she swallowed. Dammit, she was feeling remorse for having to leave, well, what she thought of as remorse. As a homonculus she had no soul, thus no TRUE emotions. She felt, it was fake though. She swallowed as she looked to Sileas and bit her lip resisting the urge to hug the woman.

Sileas smiled semi sadly. "Its fine, I immensely enjoyed your company. I dont let people see more then one side of me very often, maybe we will meet again some day. Ill keep an ear out for you, if you are ever in need the Deceiver will be there, when ever you need a friend Sileas will be near," she said with a smile. It was all true, as long as the girl tried hard, Sileas would be there for her.
She checked her uniform once more, making sure that it had no creases. "Lets get going, if you want we can pick up some food on my way. Its the least I can do, you gave me something I have not had in a long time, someone I can confide in, I have not had that since," she said her word fading as she tried to block the memory of her older sister. Walking to the door she held it open, letting Claudia walk out before her.

Gluttony smiled to Sileas and nodded. She wished she could say the same, but going from town to town as she did, she didn't often see the same face twice. As for the food, it'd be ludicrous to turn it down, but just make sure wasn't a bad thing. She smiled as she walked out the door and down the steps before reaching ground level and turning back to Deceit.
She stood on the narrow path and waited for Sileas patiently rocking back on her heels then forward again on her toes, her hand around the strap that was around her shoulder. She wore a smile as she waited for Sileas.
"Are you sure about the food thing? Cause I can always get my own and you can go on to work, I don't want to cause you to be late," she said smiling.

Sileas watched as Claudia moved out the door, down the steps then turned and waited. "I have till seven thirty I'm like being early and I usually get food before hand," she said. She turned to the door, locked it then stepped down onto the ground. Her boots crunched slightly against the path as she walked down it. She went to the gate opened it and walked to the right.
"I know this cute little diner, the serve decent food and its really made from the heart," she said as she walked. Following the route she usually did. Keeping to main streets and out in the open. A few people turned smiled at her and wave, she intern waved to them. She was a polite and respectful person, who most of the time went by the book. They soon arrived at a little shop, the smells of pastry wafted out the door and there was seating outside in the form of circular tables with umbrellas for shade.
She sat at one of the smaller ones, two seats, there was no umbrella but since it was early morning there was no need. She took a deep breath in, all of the things she could smell, bacon, eggs, toast, fresh bread, butter, some honey and all the other wonderful breakfast foods they where making. She could smell other scents too.

Gluttony sat at the table and took her bag off and laid it down between her feet. She looked up to Sileas and smiled before closing her eyes and smelling the bacon along with the eggs made her mouth water slightly. She swallowed and took another breath. French toast filled her nostrils as she inhaled this time. Then came the exhale of normal breathing patterns. Now for the inhale. She took in the air to smell honey and toast this time around, she opened her eyes and looked to Sileas.
She had smelt eggs and bacon in mothers mansion sure, she made her good batch every morning when she woke up, at four in the morning. The thing was, she had never smelt something that smelled so good! She took it all in again. And her face couldn't help but break out in a smile and her give a slight chuckle at how good it all smelled.
"I... guess I'm kinda hungry," she muttered. Either Gluttony or Deceit needed to get a conversation started, and quick. She wasn't one for awkward silences. She looked out to the people walking along, so few. Must've been because of the time she guessed. She saw a couple people who looked mildly familiar, but she couldn't tell. She looked back to Deceit with a smile.
"So, you work with the military along with be- your night job," she asked, almost letting, "The Deceiver," slip but catching herself just beforehand, "what do you do if you don't mind my asking," she asked rather hesitantly. The military was a bad bunch for her to be around. Not because she was wanted or anything, but because if Gluttony let her image slip, the woman may grow suspicious, or not. Sileas had told, "Claudia," multiple times that she felt at ease around her. She gave a mental shrug as she waited for Deceits answer.

Sileas ordered two combo platters that consisted of, two egg, four strips of bacon, two pancakes, two french toasts, A glass of orange juice, coffee, and a slice of chocolate cake. Sileas never really finished all of it, shed give it to someone who needed it. At the question about her job she smiled. She did not normally speak about it but she did not see a reason not too.
"Mostly paperwork, I enjoy it. Im only a Sergeant but I do all I can, as for my after hour job, there are some things that cant be caught by conventional methods," she said as the juice and coffee arrived, the waitress also dropped of some chocolate syrup. Sileas added the syrup to her coffee and stirred. She took a sip and smiled, she always liked a little sweet in her drinks.

Gluttony nodded as Deceit told her of her job with a smile on her face. She saw the waitress approaching with their drinks. She smiled a bit as she had the orange juice and coffee were set in front of her. So many humans. She could honestly say, she didn't hold a high opinion of them.
It wasn't that she didn't like humanity, it was that humanity seemed to have a problem with her, with homunculi. They consider homunculi abominations. She knew with every bit of her head that if Sileas had found out she was a homunculi, things would NOT have went as well as they did. Instead, Gluttony kept her real identity a secret, thanks to Dante she had two names. She couldn't forget, to any human, her name was, and always would be Claudia.
She ringed her index finger around the handle of the coffee cup before lifting it up to her lips and taking a small test sip and cringed. The coffee needed some creamer. She looked around the table but didn't see any.
"Hmm... where can I find so- Ah," she said as she looked around at the other tables finding some she stood from her seat and walked over to the nearest table that had no one setting at it. She grabbed the canister before walking back and setting. She poured a bit in her coffee. She gave it another test sip and smiled nodding approvedly. She then looked down to the canister of creamer in her hand and sighed, "Guess I should put this back, she smiled as she stood again and walked back to the table where she grabbed the canister and put it on the table before walking back and setting. She ringed her finger around the handle of her cup and lifted it to her lips taking a sip.
She lowered the cup with an amused smile before looking to Sileas.
"So I guess you enjoy your job. You're after hours job I mean," she asked wanting a conversation between them. She didn't like the awkward silence and she blinked as she looked into Deceits eyes. She bit her lip as it was proved.
She COULD see the sigils on the other side. Her eyes WERE glass. It was obvious that she could see! How could she see out of glass?! Gluttony's mind searched and searched for a possible possibility to her conundrum, and came upon one.
Books couldn't tell you everything.

The food arrived shortly after Claudia made her way back over after dropping off the creamer. Sileas took a bite of the eggs and ate a full strip of bacon before saying, "Yeah, not much to do physically on the job. Plus the things I do are all secrets. They dont know anything." She ate another piece of bacon savoring the taste, the best bacon could be found here. She sipped her coffee, she then picked up her fork and scooped some of the cake, savoring the sugar. Today's cake was made with dark chocolate, slightly bitter but sweat all the same.
She looked at Claudia, and smiled. "I do what I do cause I can, I want not to cause pain, but to right what I can, when I can, simple. As for keeping it a secret, you probably realized what they would do if they found out. Im just a regular person looking to do what they can, I discriminate not against color or race, all are equals," she said almost on ramble. She closed her eyes for a bit, feeling through the ground, she felt the pulse that was the steps of people, a rhythm hard to find elsewhere.

Gluttony saw the waitress coming with the food from behind Sileas and moved her cups to give the plate some room. The waitress sat it on the table with a chink from the plate along with a fork and spoon wrapped up inside a napkin beside the plate and walked off to complete her other orders. Gluttony unwrapped the fork and spoon nodding as she did so. She grabbed her fork and started in on her eggs. Fried omelet, and it looked and smelled splendid. She began to mix the white of the egg along with the yolk and took a bit from the gooey egg. She lifted it from the plate with her fork and stuck it in her mouth with a roll of her eyes at how good it was. She swallowed.
"Wow, you really know how to choose the restaurants," she commented, "this's good," she took another bite of egg and laid her fork on the plate and took a sip of her coffee before taking a bite of her bacon. It was all delicious. She grabbed her fork again and took another bite of egg, and another, and yet another. She couldn't get enough of the egg, luckily it was rather large. Just the right amount of pepper, and did she taste some sage in there somewhere? She didn't look like a pig, she was taking slow small bites, and chewing thoroughly. It didn't matter, she continued to eat.
""I do what I do cause I can, I want not to cause pain, but to right what I can, when I can, simple. As for keeping it a secret, you probably realized what they would do if they found out. Im just a regular person looking to do what they can, I discriminate not against color or race, all are equals,"
Gluttony paused with the fork in her mouth and blinked a couple of times before she slid it out and swallowed. All are equals? Heh, bet she didn't feel the same way about Homunculi. After all, they weren't technically a race or a color they were creations. Sons and daughters of alchemy along with their creators. Dante didn't exactly CREATE Gluttony, but she HAD saved Gluttony from wondering the world lost and confused. Now she knew which way was north, how to use the stars to find your way, and all manners of other things thanks to Dante.
Humans, bah, who needed them. They were afraid of Homunculi, cause the products of alchemy were something more. Something mysterious, they WERE something to be feared. Gluttony was sure that if Deceit, had figured out Gluttony's identity then she wouldn't have treated Gluttony the way she did.
That's why she had to keep this image up, which is why she smiled and nonchalantly asked, "And homunculi? How do you feel about them," she asked taking another bite of egg.

Sileas downed two more slices and bacon and an egg before the question came up. She normally ate quickly, she wiped her mouth and took a sip of the orange juice. "Truth many military hate them, I dont see a reason too. Why discriminate against all when it is only some that cause problems," she said calmly. She stirred some more of the chocolate syrup in her coffee before drinking the rest of it. All of this was true.
"Are all humans evil simply because of a few, are all bears killers because of some, are all dogs evil because a few bite. Each person is their own, discriminating because of things that are not their fault is stupid to me," she said before diggin into her french toast. She was getting a bit full like she thought she would. Shed give the rest to one of the people she walked by. She leaned back slightly.
"Then again Im pretty different then normal people. My point of views to some are skewered, different. I act normal to the normals, this is the first time I have act just true to myself. I hide myself," she said. The waitress came by and refilled Sileas's cup and then moved on her way.

Gluttony looked to the right as she finished then silently started to eat her eggs. Her fork sinking into the slice causing juice to spread away from the egg. She then lifted the final piece of the egg and slipped it into her mouth. She swallowed and ringed her index finger around the handle to her coffee cup again to lift it to her mouth. She took a sip and laid it back onto the table before turning to her delicious bacon. She took a bite before she realized what she was doing.
"Sometimes normal is just bad. I personally hate normal people. People who follow the crowd blindly never questioning anything," she said looking to the left where the crowd was slowly forming. She shook her head and turned back to the bacon and took a rather large bite out of it before she chewed and swallowed. She looked to her glass of orange juice then to her coffee. She took the final sip of coffee then grabbed her orange juice and raised it to her lips taking a drink. The tangy taste flowed over her taste-buds and down her throat.
She put the cup down and took the last bite of bacon before looking down to the French Toast. She grabbed a piece and took a test bite of the buttery pastry. She smiled as she took a larger bite liking the taste. She looked to Sileas as she swallowed.
"So, how often do you actually, you know," she looked over her shoulder and then around. She wasn't exactly in earshot of anybody. She tucked her light brown hair behind her ears and leaned forward a bit putting her head over her plate her long hair dangling just over her food, "catch someone," she whispered, but loud enough for on Deceit to hear her.
