Read Them, Remember Them, Praise Them!

Rule Number One:
No godmodding, this is a no brainer and it will NEVER be acceptable! So don't even consider trying it on this forum.

Rule Number Two:
No powerplaying, this is also no brainer. I shouldn't have to explain it...

Rule Number Three:
If you are playing a cannon character, play them as they are meant to be played. Riza didn't have black hair and she doesn't slut herself out to everyone in the military. Roy maybe a total flirt, but he isn't a slut either. All I am asking is that you think about the character that you want to play before joining as them. If we see something uncanonish about your application, it will be declined. I don't care how hard you worked on the application. If your going to play a canon, play a canon. If your going to play a original character, play a original. Don't think your going to get away with mixing them together...

Rule Number Four:
No Elricest, please. Though they do love each other, it is only in a brotherly way. Nothing more and nothing less. If we do see this, we will warn the people playing the characters once. After that point, if they do it again, their rights to that character will be revoked and the characters will be given to someone else.

Rules Number Five:
Let us be a literate as possible please. We don't want to see chat speak in your posts and we want to see long paragraphs. This means NO one liners! They really irritate me and I'm sure everyone else feels the same. I would also like to see people using spell check and good grammar as well. I am not telling you to be masters of literacy, but I am asking you to at least try.

Rule Number Six:
No Explicit Sex Scenes!!! If it looks like it belongs in a exotica novel or romance novel, we don't want to see it on here. If you really must have sexual interactions between you characters, please take it else where or take it to PMs. Proboards doesn't allow such things and we don't want to insult them after they gave us this forum to work with for free. Kissing is okay. Light groping is okay. Sex is NOT okay.

Rule Number Seven:
Homosexuality in characters is accepted and welcomed in this site. If you don't think you can live with it, please don't join. We will have no bashing of any sexuality in this site. This doesn't mean that Elricest is allowed though. Rule number four still stands strong.

Rule Number Eight:
You can post in whatever color you want as long as we can still see it without straining our eyes. This doesn't mean you can change the color coding on the character format or any other format we give you though. Please think before you choose a color to post with.

Rule Number Ten:
The only time you can kill a character without all of the staff's permission is if it is a NPC that holds no importance. Though we don't like the idea of PC death, we will allow it if you ask the person in whoms, character your going to kill and the staff first. If this rule is not listened to and you do kill a PC without permission, we will frown upon this and you will be punished for it.

Rule Number Eleven:
You may make a city up if it is realistic. If it isn't realistic, we will refuse your request to make it up. There will be no flying cities or cities on the back of giant turtles. The more detail you give us on this city and the higher your changes will be for this cites acceptance. We love detail. Detail is our friend.

Rule Number Twelve:
Please remember to respect the staff. We worked hard on this site so that everyone can enjoy it. Yeah, we might be a little strict on things, but that is mostly just so that everything stays fun for everyone. Please no bashing the staff or the site to their faces. If you have a issue with us, please take it up with us directly and we will try to fix things between each other. We want everyone on here to enjoy their time on here.

Rule Number Thirteen:

Rule Number Fourteen:
Chimeras, State Alchemists, and Homunculi will be accepted at the discretion of the staff. They are rare in the anime, so they will be rare in this roleplay as well. We will be picky when it comes to these types of characters. Please do your best to impress us with your skills as a roleplay when trying out for one of these.

Rule Number Fifteen:
Human alchemy is forbidden! The only people who are permitted to do this are Dante and the leaders of the Saints, Cain and Abel. All human alchemy has to be requested before preformed! Staff may make a exception for a character if they have a good reason to be doing human alchemy.This is very unlikely though.

Rule Number Sixteen:
Activity Checks as well as Affiliate and Advertisement checks will be done at the end of every month. Anyone that doesn't post in the Activity Check with in three days will be deleted. Anyone that has already said they will be gone ahead of time will be safe from the Activity Check. All Affiliates and Advertisements that haven't seen activity in over a week will be deleted as well.

Rule Number Eighteen:
NO PEDOPHILIA EVER!!! It will never be permitted on this site. Any rule breakers will be pushed severally! This may even lead to immediate banning depending on the severity of the offense. Pedophilia is a crime everywhere in the United States and that includes this site. If your not from the United States, we are sorry but this rule still stands.

Rule Number Nineteen:
If you haven't seen the series or read the manga, please do your research before joining. Feel free to ask the staff questions, but if you post a character and it is obvious that you have no clue what this series is about, your character will be declined. We also ask that all canon characters be played by people that know the characters. If it is obvious you don't know a canon by your profile, you profile will be declined. If we see that you don't know the character whilst your roleplaying it, we will tell you we are sorry but you can no longer play the character and we will give it to someone else.

Rule Number Twenty:
We will be making PinPoint threads so that people have a better guesstimate of the timeline. You don't have to post in this thread though. It is just a main event that you can guess the timeline around. You may do threads before this or after it. All that we ask is that you state if it is before or after in the first post. If you don't remember to do this, it is alright. We are sure we can guess by the content.

Rule Number Twenty-One:
Please be aware of Time vs. Travel. If you are going from East City to West City, it is more then likely going to take you more then a day to get there.

Rule Number Twenty-Two:
Homunculi powers will be examined with great caution. If we feel like your characters power is to over powering or we just don't understand how it will work, we will ask you to change it or explain the power more in depth.

Rule Number Twenty-Three:
FullMetal Alchemist is based in the same time period as WWII. Be rational about electronics and the like.

Rule Number Twenty-Four:
This is the most important rule of all... HAVE FUN!!! xD

Rule Number Twenty-Five:
Alchemy is impossible on the other side. You can not use it at all. There is no alchemists in Germany.
