Sileas took her steps lightly, one of her few day off since coming to Central. Not that she really liked them. Never really had anything to do. She wandered slightly considering going to work anyways. She was wearing her normal pink top, brown trousers, red belt and brown boots. Her golden glass eyes flicked around her. She liked being able to read, though not so much as seeing. She liked feeling the earths pulse.
Her steps where light, she closed her eyes as she walked. Using the pulsations to move around. She pushed everything from her mind. She walked swiftly, arriving at a small tea shop. The ornamental smells made her open her eyes. It was a quant little place, very Xing. She smiled slightly as she approached the shop. She took another deep breath in, the smells mingled slightly but she could smell each one separately.
She felt a little homesick. After her loss her home had been with her master, although she was not a fan of the bitterness of most tea he had always put it on the stove. She walked into the shop, eyes turned to her as she walked to a small table that had two seats. She looked around, taking another deep breath in, a small smile on her face. The smells made her want to cry, she missed her old self a great deal. A few tears fell off her face, sadness in her heart.

Li whistling a tune while he was walking toward his favorite tea shop. He liked that shop because it had a lot of Xingese tea. Every time he would take a sip of Xingese tea it would remind him Xing all the things that he loved. He would also be reminded of the good times he had, the years traveling wit his parents and the circus, and the days he spent with his student Phoenix. He looked around and he was reminded again that he wasn't used to living in Amerstris.
He got close to the tea shop and was able to smell the tea. He entered into the tea shop, no one else was in there but a girl who had brown hair. Li looked at her and realized something, the girl was Phoenix. She was crying, he decided to comfort her.
He grabbed a seat and put next to hers. He wrapped his arm around her back touching her shoulder like the way he used to comfort her whenever she was sad. He looked her right in her eyes, smiled, and said, "You shouldn't weep for others because they will weep for you" Li then gave a bigger and more heartwarming smile.

Sileas wiped her tears slightly before she heard what had been said. 'You shouldn't weep for others because they will weep for you'. She looked up to see her master who she had not seen in three years. Her golden glass eyes wide. She with held the urge to run. Merely for the fact she never told him what she had done since she had left. That she had chosen a new name and was working in the military.
Her tears flowed a little more as she said quietly, "master it has been a long time. My tears feel bitter like your tea." She laughed slightly, she had always told him his tea was to bitter. She waited for him to seat himself across from her. She was filled with joy and sadness at the same time. She wiped her tears once more before she looked at him again. She caught a glimpse of a silver chain, she noticed it was similar to Alex's.
She smiled slightly and said, "A state alchemist master. I am surprised truthfully we have not seen each other before. Sergant Sileas Deceit is saddened not to of met earlier." She had said her new name. She knew he would as what she meant. She had not contacted him, even in her years at the academy. She had tried hard not to be found out, but it appeared everything was unraveling since her arrival in Central.

Li continued to smile at Phoenix, he savored the moment they were having together. When she said, "master it has been a long time. My tears feel bitter like your tea." he laughed and remembered when she used to say that all the time. He got up and sat on the seat across from her. When he got up he noticed that she looked at his silver pocket watch chain.
After he sat down on the chair she said to him, "A state alchemist master. I am surprised truthfully we have not seen each other before. Sergant Sileas Deceit is saddened not to of met earlier." Li was confused at first, but he got it a second later. He was surprised too when he heard that she joined the military, it was a mystery how they managed not to see each other even though they worked together. The bigger mystery was why did Phoenix change her name? He didn't think about why she changed her name because he knew she had her reasons he responded to Sileas by saying, "I am saddened too. So what have you've done over the years?"

Sileas smiled slightly. His words where music to her ears. She had always had a soft spot for him, more so then ever. Some tea arrived, apparently her master coming here often, she took a sip. She frowned and scrunched up her face. "The academy was simple really, I heard little of her. A few clues on him," she said. The her referring to her older sister who had been in the military before her, the him referred to the man who had killed her. He was still in the military.
She took another sip of the tea, letting it flow over her pallet. Tasting the faint hints, it was a mixed one, slight black berry taste, citrus, and a faint fleck of mint. A pleasing taste if only slightly bitter. She placed her cup back down carefully. "I was stationed in East up till recently, I was transferred to Central and I was stationed under, General Mustang," she said. Her eyes flicked up and looked into his. He was the reason she could see. The reason she was still living.

Li was happy to be able to see his old students face again. He was a bit worried when he didn't hear from her since she left. He knew she could take care of herself, but he was always a bit overprotective of her. He heard her talk about her days in the academy and how she heard little of "her" and few clues on "him". He didn't like when she talked about the dark parts of her past, it saddened him and amazed him by how well she turned out today.
He heard that she was now under General Mustang. Li responded by saying, "Mustang I hear he's a good man, and a troublesome one." He took a sip of his tea and said, "I have a question for you what will you do if you ever find "him?" Li wanted to know what her intentions were in case she would try to do something dangerous.

Sileas looked into her cup after he asked the question, she felt like crying, a few tears fell into her tea. Her voice trembled slightly as she said, "I just want the truth of why he did it. I want to know the reason she was taken from me. After that I dont know. Probably what I have been doing, make the person turn themselves in." She took another sip of her tea, her tears mixing with the liquid. She placed the cup down and wiped her still flowing tears with her pink sleeve. Her heart ached badly. She missed her so much, she had heard there was a type of alchemy that could bring her back, in past she had considered it, she knew it would not be the same though.
The tears continued to flow, the memories flashing in her mind, all the happy times with her sister. The time with her family, she trembled slightly. "I wonder if she had not been taken would she be here still, would I have something instead of nothing," she wiped the tears. The tears got bigger and soaked her shirt. She had held in so much, the only person she had ever shared everything with had been her master. He had seen her weep, he had seen her smile, he had seen her in rage. He had seen all there is to the gem that is herself.

Li saw Phoenix crying as the tears fell into her tea. He never could bear seeing her cry, he wanted to look away but if he did that wouldn't be sympathetic of him. He was glad that she wasn't thinking about doing anything violent to "him". Yet he was saddened that she still wasn't able to get over her the death of her sister. Though there was already a lot of tears coming from her he knew she was trying her best to restrain herself from crying so much. He was about to cry himself just from watching her.
She then said, "I wonder if she had not been taken would she be here still, would I have something instead of nothing," More tears were still coming from her, it was soaking her shirt. To cheer her up he got up and hugged her. "What do you mean you have nothing, you have friends, you have me, and you have a life. I think you have a lot of things, you shouldn't try to see something, but should try to see everything.", Li said in her ears.

Sileas's tears did not stop when he hugged her, she clutched him tightly and cried onto him. her tears falling quickly, a few sobs escaping her. His word comforted her. It had been so long since she had had someone though. Friends not so much other then Claudia, she had co workers, Alex, Mustang, Hawkeye. There where possibilities but she had been so blind not to see them. She could see but she was still blind.
Her tears slowly stopped. She held him tightly still, how long had it been since she had been hugged. How long since someone had really cared about her. She would always have a spot for the man who had given her everything after she had lost everything else. She slowly let go of him. She wiped her face, the tears gone for the most part. She smiled at him, she was still slightly sad but she felt better.
"Im sorry master, after so long I greet you with tears. I was so focused on what I had lost and what I have been hiding," she looked at her tea. The elder women in charge of the shop came by and changed her tea. Sileas smiled at the elder women, the elder women smiled back, placing her hand on Sileas's leg in comfort before walking away. Sileas took a deep breath, calming herself.
"My change of name is because he would know who I was if I kept my old one. I am a military person with no alchemy, or so I wrote. I feel bad about it now, but if I had written my actual history, he might see it. Who knows what he would do then," she said before taking a sip of the new tea. It was sweater then the one before, the aroma of mint filling her lungs. It tasted like a mint lemon blend. She closed her eyes taking it in fully.

Li hugged her tightly, trying to help comfort her. He could feel a part of his shirt being wet from the tears. He didn't just think of Phoenix as a student Phoenix was apart of his family. He would always be there for her, he would never let anything happen to her. She then let go of him after that he sat back in his seat.
She seemed to get better after the hug. She was apologizing for greeting him with tears he responded by saying, "It doesn't matter as long as I'm able to see you." The elder woman then came to Phoenix, while she was looking at her Li coughed while putting his hand over his mouth. He took the hand off of his mouth and looked at it. The hand had a lot of blood on it, he immediately hid his hand under the table.
He was getting better last time Phoenix saw him, and he wanted to remain that way to her. She then talked about how she hid under a new persona. While she was talking he took out a small bottle of medicine. While she took a sip of her tea he slipped the medicine in sneakily and quickly. He took a drink of his tea, the medicine made the tea bitter but he didn't mind at all. After he took a drink he looked at Phoenix, "So who am I to Sileas?" Li said

She was happy he was happy to see her. She was confused as to what to say to his question though. She had not thought he would come to Central, let alone be a State Alchemist. She took another sip of her tea, allowing the taste to linger on her tongue. She felt better then she had in a while. A little less lost. "You anything you want, an old aquantice, a distant relative," she said quietly. She turned off her eyes, taking a deep breath she felt the pulse of the earth. "Or even a alchemy teacher again, that would be interesting," she continued with a small smile.
She closed her eyes, feeling the pulse, she could feel many feet. She could feel the cars, she heard birds and other animals. She had gained much from her losses but she did not think she would ever have what she truly desired. Her Sensei was important to her, family even, but she still wept for her true family, the one that vanished in a flurry of flames. After entering the academy she had discovered she was unable to deal with loud noises. She had to train herself for combat though. She turned her eyes back on and looked at her sensei. "I have missed you a great deal," she said lightly holding back more tears.

Li was worried of his condition, there might be a chance that his condition will be revealed. He had to do Alkahestry soon to slow down his illness if he doesn't the medicine won't take full effect. His vision was being blurred and he began to be light headed. He however tried his best to act normally. Phoenix began telling him options that he could be.
He felt like something was going to come out of him. Phoenix then told him she had missed him. He responded by saying, "I have missed you a great deal as well. Also I think i could be your alchemy teacher again, but this time ill focus more on Alkahestry." He started to feel worse, "If you'll excuse me for a bit." He went into the bathroom and as soon as he went into the door he rushed to the toilet. He puked blood and msot of it went into the toilet.
He had no choice but to do Alkahestry now. He made a circle on the wall. He touched the circle then he started to get better. He was leaning on his arm that was still on the wall. He was panting after a few breaths he got cleaned up and went back out and sat back in his seat.

Sileas smiled at what he had said. Truth be told it would be nice to learn more Alkehestry. She had what he had taught her which was a great deal. The tattoos itched slightly, and she was wearing the charm anklet he had given her. She could use all of them with ease no. Having little problems. She sipped her tea carefully. When he excused himself she worried slightly, something felt off.
When he returned she smelled blood and vomit. He also smelled faintly of a certain blend of medicine. Her eyes hardened slightly as she looked at him. "I smell blood," she said bluntly but quietly. She was worried and her heart was screaming at her. She blinked a few times and sipped her tea again. "You know I dont like it when you hide things from me," she said quietly and honestly.

He returned to his seat hoping she wouldn't notice anything. He took a sip of tea to calm himself down he heard Phoenix quietly say, "I smell blood." Once he heard this he drank too fast and began coughing. He needed to think of a excuse to give her.
She was getting suspicious of him she then said, "You know I dont like it when you hide things from me," He had thought of a excuse he responded, "Well I had a small cut and I decided to ignore it, however it got worse over time and started bleeding rapidly that's why i needed to go to the bathroom." He hated lying to Phoeinx, but he didn't want her to worry about him. He put up a fake smile and said, "Everything is all right now." even though he knew it wasn't.

Sileas twitched slightly as she took another sip of her tea. She was saddened that he would not tell her of his own will on the first try. "Its not just blood, the acrid smell mixed with it. How do you get a small cut on your throat," she said quietly looking him in the eyes. She knew her eyes could not convey everything. She was hurt but she knew that she had hurt him too. The years of not contacting him. Changing her name, she felt as if in a way she had betrayed him. She pushed these emotions away and focused on the now.
She looked back down at her tea, taking another sip. She heard him say everything was all right. "No not everything," she muttered quietly. She still felt the cold feeling from when she had lost everything. She understood she was blind and could live with it if need be. She felt empty when she was forced to lie. She sighed and pushed the cup a little distance away from her. She then leaned back in the chair and looked at the ceiling. "If you dont wan to tell me fine, but dont be falling unconscious on me got it," she continued quietly.
