Wright had traveled long and far from his home. He had walked for miles before finally reaching West City. He remembered what his teacher had said about this world so he knew that most records and such were kept in Central. Also most great Alchemists were in central, so both his goals could be achieved there. so he quickly bought a train ticket to central and left.
He was spending his time reading one of his sensei's alchemy books. The current one he was reading was about transmuting guns. He hadn't had the chance to learn this before his teachers murder. He still hadn't bothered to shake the sand out of the boots he had bought, but he was too anxious and tired to care. Little did he know that on this smooth ride, there was trouble afoot!

She loved trains- the drama of them, the way they passed everything so quickly and left such lovely images for one to peer at through the window. Right now she imagined that she was a girl going to visit distant family in Central- which she was, to a point. Most of her new family could be found there on occasion and Greed's club was well-known as a place for her performances. True, she had to use her new name while working there, but the uncanny resemblance to her former self still got her the attention she needed, wanted and craved.
With a bright and cheery smile she traced the trees she passed, leaving small fingerprints on the windows. Mother had allowed her to leave and perform a show in the West City, both to bring in money and make a contact. No matter what, those who were angry seemed to brighten when she took the stage and began to sing, dancing a bit as well or performing monologues for the crowd. She liked their smiles and could almost feel their adoration flowing into her, like blood or energy.
Looking around the train for a brief moment with an expression of curiosity she turned her head and saw a boy, younger than herself and with dark hair that hung over most of his face. Oh, a mystery! She could almost have clapped, but she was trying to stay in character as the well-behaved girl. Perhaps he would come up and talk to her, and then she could speak.

Wright scanned the crowd with his automail eye and ear, he was still a little paranoid after what happened at his home, he was unsure of wether whoever had killed his sensei would be trying to kill him! Then he noticed a familiar face in the crowd, a girl who's show he had seen while waiting for his train! Seeing that she was sitting alone and deciding that he had nothing to lose, he wen over and sat down in the seat in front of her.
"Hey," he said to the girl, "You put on a great show this morning! I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Wright Curtis. What's your name?" Wright out-stretched his right gloved hand in greeting. His sonar wasn't picking up anything unusual in the area, nothing, besides the train, was moving very fast. So Wright was fairly calm.

A fan! Even better! Smiling widely and sweetly she took his hand lightly with her own, as gracefully and prettily as the noble young lady she was playing in her mind's eye. After all, one always needed to practice their roles. "I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it," she told him in a friendly tone, eyes wide and smiling as much as the rest of her features. He was so cute from what she could see of his features too. "My name is Tallulah Gordon. Have you been to one of my shows before?"
An expression of polite curiosity crossed her features and she patted the seat next to her own in a welcoming fashion. "I'm glad I was able to meet you, I hate sitting alone! Or do you not want to talk to me anymore?" She let her eyes take on an expression of hopeful loneliness that she matched with a barely quivering lower lip. She did hate being bored, and this boy was all that had approached to speak with her so far.

"Its very nice to meet you Tallulah!" Wright loved to meet new friends, though she would probably be disgusted if she saw his eye and ear. He unconsciously pulled more of his hair over the left side of his face. She really was beautiful, and a great performer too. Wright thought he was very fortunate to meet her.
"Oh no, I'd love to talk to you!" Wright responded, "Much better than reading my alchemy books!" He held up the book he was reading, which had a complicated transmutation circle on the front. "We all have our talents I guess." Wright laughed to himself as he said this. He probably should be reading the book still, but he enjoyed being social more. He needed the practice, how could he expect to be a great alchemist without it? But this girl was just drawing him in with her eyes. Sure she obviously wasn't all that smart, but she seemed nice.

"Oh, you do alchemy?" she asked interestedly, her voice holding a very pleasant chirp of enthusiastic curiosity. "It must be wonderful, to be able to shape your world in that fashion. I played an alchemist once, but it was all stage magic to make it look real. What is it like to do the real thing?" Oh, she did enjoy the company, and that probably loosened her tongue a little, though she remembered to say things in a very general way to keep others from guessing that some of these roles had been hers before her death. Dante said she'd be in trouble otherwise.
The countryside started to become more forested and she peered through the trees at the surroundings, even on occasion examining the trees themselves before turning to face him again and giving him a bright smile. "What other talents do you have? I'm always curious about new people and what they may have done."
