Rest in me and I'll comfort you
I have lived yet died for you
Abide in me and I vow to you
I will never forsake you
They'll never see
I'll never be
I struggle on and on to feed this hunger
Burning deep inside of me
Hey there, I am Hazel! xD

~Overall Personality; He's not that different from Ed, except for the fact that Pride isn't exactly one to lash out. He likes being alone, wether its somewhere outside or cooped up inside with a book. He doesn't care much for huge crowds- he'd really rather avoid them. Pride likes being near running water, it's relaxing to him. He climbs trees mainly for hiding, as he's a bit more evasive then all out attack. He has the habit to not blink very often, making most people a little uneasy. Spaces that are small and enclosed make him feel uncomfortable, and he could easily be considered a claustrophobe. Pride isn't too good in fights, and he hates being yelled at in any form. He's easily confused, giving others an opening to push themselves in. Unlike Ed, he doesn't lash out immediatley upon being called small. But, he will if he's been called any form of small too many times. Pride is submissive only to those who have established higher rank than him, most of the time if he lost in a fight against them. He has an unatural fear of spiders, and he refuses to answer any question related to why. He has small memories of Ed's, and frankly, it annoys him to no end. He wants his own life, and hates being an imitation.
~Character History~
~Current Town; Dante's Mansion
~Parents; Dante
~Siblings ; Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, and Greed
~Other Family; None
~Pets; None.
~Other Relatives; Edward and Alphonse Elric.
~Full History; Pride was created on accident. Dante had been trying to bring back someone else, Pride was never told who. His earliest memories are of her surprised face staring at him in shock, then immediatley regaining composure. She took advantage of having him there, insisting that she had meant to bring him back. He was given a name and a place, though most of the homunculus weren't happy about it. They saw him as Ed: someone who would stab them in the back first chance he got. Pride was made submissive to the others, forced into timid closure. He was defiant at first, but soon learned his place, and it was beaten into him.
Pride was taught about the world and alchemy, and most of them were convinced that he would know it. He tried, but all he could dredge up were faint memories of books and circles. He studied it when he could, but he couldn't do anything more than learn the circles and how they worked. It was clear he wouldn't know it, and it was clear he wasn't like Edward. Dante was frustrated with him, and he didn't understand why. Whenever he did try to ask, she dismissed him without a word. He ended up just as frustrated, and in the end, he left the homunculus, intending to figure out himself.
It was then when faint memories began to appear. They were fuzzy at best and all together dark at worst. Anytime he tried to make sense of it, he only got a headache for his efforts. It added to the frustration, and the confusion only made it worse. It seemed like the more he tried, it only got worse. Pride abandoned the fant memories, making his own life and avoiding the homunculus anyway he could. It was during these troubles he came upon Rizembool. As he stood amongst aged ashes, the memories grew steadily clearer.
And he knew immediatley they weren't his. He hadn't had a mother or a brother, let alone a father. Pride finally understood why Dante had been frustrated- She had expected a perfect homunculus who would be just like the original. He began to long solitude, and to discover who he was created from. It angered him that he felt this way. So he left Rizembool, heading toward Central. He'd figure out what he could there, then move on. But when he came to Central, he felt a little more comfortable. He told himself he'd stay a little longer, almost daily. Of course, he still had to go other places. He left Central eventually, and continued on.
It was around this time he decided to return to Dante's Mansion and be with the other sins. He was too confused and lost to continue by himself, so he returned, though he wasn't looking forward to what might happen in the near future.
~Other Miscellaneous Stuff~
~Roleplay Sample; The night was unnaturally dark tonight. It made her feel extremely uneasy. She just wanted to finish hunting and hurry back home to her kits. Those annoying kits. She hadn't wanted them. The loners had, apparently. Thank god Abbadon had killed them. Echo yawned, silently wishing someone could have hunted for her today. Crouching low, the lithe she-cat inched forward, pinpointing a mouse. It hadn't even scented her. She smirked, tail flicking. Echo pounced, landing easily uppon the small animal. It squeaked loudly, but Echo had it pinned. She dispatched it quickly with a bite to the neck. Lifting the still-warm body, she headed back home, toward the bush where her kits were hidden. She glanced at the moonless sky once more, sighing as she did. Taking care of herself and her kits at the same time was definitley taxing her patience. Green eyes peered under the bush, glad to see Flame, Nut, and Flower all sleeping soundly. She frowned, then curled up beside them, beggining her small meal.
~Anything Else; His homunculus 'power' is to summon a scythe, and he heals slower than the other homunculus.[/font]
