ac - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Welcome to Stratton, Georgia, a sleepy little town where nothing of grand-scale importance ever happens. No one's been murdered in at least thirty years, and the only real crime is the gas prices. Everyone knows everyone's secret, and it's not rare that gossip is passed around.
There's a farmer's market on the east end as you're leaving, and the next town isn't for another hundred or so miles. The air is fresh, and there's one stoplight. In fact, the older folks often still refer to the local grocery as the 'old general store'. The town's over two hundred years old, and it hasn't changed too much since then. That is, until now.
Some big contractor named Ted Maxwell moved in, and he wants to bring his bis business with him. Having moved in from the city, he can see the appeal of the rolling country side, and he wants to share it with the world. That means dragging in more big business.
Well, the inhabitants don't like that one bit.
And apparently, one of them didn't like it more than the others. Not more than a week after announcing his big plans, poor Ted was found dead in his home. The cops still aren't sure who it is, but everyone has a motive. These are the small town conversations.
